Clay Wheels Lane

Clay Wheels Lane is a non-accessible cul de sac with very little productive employment. The site is over 100 acres and is situated next to the picturesque area of the River Don.

Menta secured the planning consent to improve the infrastructure, roads, pedestrian bridges, and the surrounding environment alongside 120,000 sq ft of commercial space and a £33million investment programme towards the regeneration of the Upper Don Valley in April 2006.

The UCAR project is currently on hold due to a lack of council support for the regeneration proposal which would have delivered a sustainable community including executive housing, community facilities and major infrastructure improvements. Menta continue to monitor the position and will be key to delivering the master plan should the council reassert interest in the project.
